Anson Ko is a Registered Physiotherapist, Diocesan Boys' School alumnus, former Water Polo Team Captain, and a 7-year veteran of the Hong Kong Water Polo Team. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and represented Hong Kong at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou and the Asian Championships. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Modern Acupuncture for Rehabilitation (HKU SPACE), an Advanced Certificate in Sport & Exercise Nutrition (HKU SPACE), and is a Certified DMA Clinical Pilates Clinician. Having lived high-performance aquatics from the inside out, Anson brings a superior, firsthand understanding of elite athletic biomechanics and injury mechanisms.

Currently serving as the designated Team Physiotherapist for the Hong Kong Water Polo Team, Anson directed on-site trauma management and rapid-recovery strategies at the 2025 National Games of China, alongside two seasons of Premier League field-side coverage with the Hong Kong Football Club. Beyond standard rehabilitation, he provides proactive biomechanical screening, functional movement assessments, and tailored nutrition strategies. He focuses on identifying hidden physical weaknesses early to prevent overuse injuries, safeguard growth plate health, and keep student-athletes competing at their peak.

Deeply committed to supporting youth sports development across Hong Kong, Anson understands the exact physical demands and academic pressures student-athletes face during critical school transitions. He works closely with families to deliver rapid injury recovery, customized prehab routines, and structural load management. By treating the root cause of athletic stress rather than simply sidelining young talent, Anson gives parents confidence that their children are supported by an elite sports health specialist throughout their academic and athletic journeys.
